Red and yellow, black and white...they are precious in His Sight. Jesus loves the little Children of the world.
Some people can be so cruel. We are all created by God so why not show it. Who cares what someone looks like, what colour skin they have, whether they have glasses or they're from an exotic part of the world. Were all different. It's like saying, I can't like you cause you eat apples for lunch. Sounds dumb but that's exactly what prejudice is...dumb.
Colossians 1:25-27
I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, wh...ich is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Christ in me hope of Glory. Christ in me! This next story, I wrote based on a very famous part of scripture. A story Jesus told to his desciples describing to them who their neighbours are. Everyone, whether they are from Canada or Asia is our neighbours. And we should treat them all with the love and respect Jesus would if he was out walking on earth once again. Oh yeah, he is, walking in us and beside us. Christ in me, hope of Glory...
He was dressed in red. They had stripped off his clothes. Blood seeped through his open wounds; he lay on the ground…moaning. There was no one around. No one to hear his cries for help, No one to bear his pain but him. It was getting dark. He began to shiver as the warmth of the suns slowly disappeared. He had only seen two people pass by here in the past few hours. He could feel their cold, disgusted stares as they passed on, without even one thought of compassion. It was enough to bring tears to his eyes. Both were godly men. How could such godly man do something so hurtful…so ungodly? Surely, God would have helped him if God had passed by that day and saw him lying on the side of the road? Just as the sun slipped away for good, he slipped in to unconsciousness.
“Do you think he will be okay?”
“Hard to say, he should definitely stay the night. Who is he?”
“Don’t know, I found him like this just lying on the side of the road. Blood covered his body. He does not appear to have any money and I need to move on. I have a long journey ahead of me before morning. Here, keep him here as long as he needs, this should cover it…if it does not I will be passing through here in a few days. I will try to stop by to check on him I can give you any more money his bill asks for then.”
“You mean you don’t even know this guy.”
“Never seen him before in my life.”
When he awoke, it was warmer out than he remembered. Brighter too. He must have slept all night. However, something was strangely different. He thought he could hear the murmurs of people whispering off in the distant. Did he miss someone yet again? When was someone going to stop for him?
Just then, his eyes snapped wide open. He was no longer stranded and left to die on the side of the road. Instead, he found himself lying in a bed in an unfamiliar room. The room was sparsely furnished with just the single bed he lay on and one or two other pieces of furniture. On the other side of the room, two men stood quietly talking among themselves in low whispers. It was not long before one of the men hurriedly left the room.
“So how’s our patient?”
“Fine. Um…where am I? And how did I get here?”
“That kind man brought you. Did not appear to know you at all, said he found you lying unconscious on the side of the road. He had to go but not without strict instructions for you to stay here with me. He even was so kind as to pay your bill. Said he would be back in a couple of days to check up on you. Said he was traveling to his home town of Samaria ”
The man could not believe his ears. Such kindness this man showed even for an enemy. And he looked to be just an ordinary man. Not like the priests he had seen walk by him without even a look of empathy. What made this person different that he would go completely out of his way to help another person he did not even know and not to mention hated!
He felt a sharp pain in his head. He needed sleep. Closing his eyes, he thought about the previous day. How helpless he must have looked; dressed in red, naked, alone, and afraid for his life.
He opened his eyes to sudden movement in the room. Standing above him was the doctor with a glass of water.
“Here, drink this, it will refresh you.”
Taking the glass, he happened to glance at his reflection in the cool liquid. His eyes were puffy with redness. His cheeks were badly swollen to a purplish reddish color. He was a sight. Inhaling deeply he choked as a jab of pain shot up his ribs. He was just happy to be alive. Suddenly the redness of his bruised and bloody skin did not bother him all that much. For it was the redness of his heart that mattered, now. For it was no longer black with hatred…but full of love for all his neighbours that needed help…friends and enemies.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Be My Everything
"To whom God was pleased to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Col. 1:27).
What a great promise this song bring to us all. God is our everything, and he is everywhere...never will he leave us alone to get by ourselves. Without him where would we be? Read the lyrics of this song...It says all that needs to be said...
God in my living
There in my breathing
God in my waking
God in my sleeping
God in my resting
There in my working
God in my thinking
God in my speaking
Be my everything
Be my everything
Be my everything
Be my everything
God in my hoping
There in my dreaming
God in my watching
God in my waiting
God in my laughing
There in my weeping
God in my hurting
God in my healing
Christ in me
Christ in me
Christ in me the hope of glory
You are everything
Christ in me
Christ in me
Christ in me the hope of glory
Be my everything
